If you had to take it back what was wrong with it? how did you go about taking it back? Did anyone buy a warranty for there PS3 or do they all come with them at the stores? I hear at Best Buy they offer you an extended warranty or something like that? Should i get that if they offer an extended warranty?

Got no problem with the PS3. If you want to get the warranty, go ahead and get it. It's like a peace of mind just in case something goes wrong with your PS3 after the PS3's original warranty expires. I got one because it was a launch PS3, so I wanted the extra security just in case something goes wrong. It was for an additional 2 years, and it's only like a couple of bucks a month, which I think is worth it.

I have a Playstation 3 and love it. I haven't encountered any issues with it. You will hear a lot of reports about the PS3 being returned; take heed because most of these are returned because greedy people who stood on-line and wanting to make a quick buck had to return them because Ebay was so flooded with PS3s.
You guys have to remember that the PS3 is still new and won't have the games that will make it shine. The only reason why people are also returning them is because it was an impulse to buy rather than wanting to actually get it.
The PS3 launch outsold the XBOX 360. I am not a fanboy of any system but a fanboy of games in general.

I had to take back the xbox 360 it was over heating after 2 days so I bought a ps3 it works great I bought mine a walmart they take stuff back if u keep the receipt.

Hmm won't be able to realy say for particular. I had.my undesirable days have been video games iced over on me or I have been given caught on the abode reveal screen. I in no way had a concern with the dvd freezing. given which you're saying each little thing works now, i does no longer concern.

oveheating are caused by idiots that keep the ps3 in an enclosed area so not much air can get to it or it can't vent properly.

i took mine bakc b/c it is so gay as hell i mean honestly with the money i bought a wii and had hours of fun playing that pinata game. seriously, the ps3-just how my girlfriend put it-sucks dick.
