Find a job you are qualified for, lodge an application and get the employer to sponsor your work visa. It's best to use an international recruiting firm who can help with a lot of the aspects like finding you an employer who would be willing to sponsor your work visa. Of course in Germany and Switzerland, there are also other language requirements, i.e you must speak at least basic/functional German for starters etc.

Most common around here is to get a job with a foreign owned company and put in for a transfer, or they may send you for training at the parent office. As far as citizenship, don't apply to become a citizen of the country you're visiting or marry anyone and pay your US taxes.
