The only problem is, OTC vitamins wont have as much folic acid as the ones a Dr will prescribe..so make sure you are drinking OJ!!

There are plenty of prenatal vitamins at stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, Target and others. They usually say PRENATAL VITAMINS right on the box. However, a prescription is sometimes best since the doctor will know what you are lacking. When you're pregnant, you should ALWAYS go see a doctor as soon as possible. You could also take 2 Flintstone vitamins a day, the type that contains iron. However, I must once again repeat that you should be seeing a doctor to find out what is best for YOU and your baby.

Yes you can buy them at most all pharmacy's. But if you are pregnant.. you will need to see a doctor or midwife. Also if you get sick from taking prenatals.. you can chew up to 2 flintstones complete everyday and get the vitamins you need to have a healthy baby. The ones with iron work well. That is what I had to do with my 1st one. I am taking a otc prenatal from Walmart with this pregnancy. Good luck.

Yes just go to the pharmacy section of any major discount store (wal mart, target, etc) and look in the vitamin sections and they have prenatal vitamins there for anyone who wants to take them.

Yes. You walk into any store, Albertsons, Smiths, Walmart and go to the pharmacy section. Find the vitamins and find the ones that say prenatal. Buy them. Simple huh?

You can buy them anywhere. However, my pharmacist told me that Prescription prenatal vitamins contain more folic acid than the OTC ones. I used the Target brand when ttc and then switched to the prescription ones when I got pregnant.

If you are pregnant, please make sure to see a doctor. Prenatal care is very important.

Prenatal vitamins are over the counter, you don't need a prescription.

Wal-mart has some OTC called Spring Valley Prenatal and that's what I take. It has a picture of a baby on it.

You sure can. I bought my prenatals at Wal-Mart. In the same isle where the vitamins are.
