Yea, that is a good point. I'll have to ponder that one awhile...
But, some differences:
Homer lucks out when he wins or gets what he wants, Tom Hanks usually ends up succeding because he's smart.
Homer is Homer is a fat lazy slob. (usually) Tom has been almost starved to death.
Tom's been in wars. I don't believe Homer has. Unless the neighborly (or family) fued count.
My brain isn't functioning yet this morning, so I can't think of any more right now. But its just the other side to ponder... lol
