well wearing shoes with a slight lift helps. as far as clothes are concerned try wearing vertical stripes that are subtle and if u are wearing prints do not wear clothes with big prints. choose prints that are smaller. do not wear trousers that are too long or too wide. and try the newer shirts that come tapered to fit the body better. and do not wear skin tight shirts.
besides that i think its more the confidence u carry yourself that counts more than your height.

Slightly elevated shoes can add an inch or 2.
Vertical trips makes a person look slim as well as tall.
Hair:
Puff here and there can add to their height.

In my opinion wearing shirts with vertical stripes makes a person to look taller than he actually is.
