the class is speech 210 i wanted to drop it but i need it to graduate what can i tell my professor

Skip the excuse and go to class. Unless this is the profs first semester of teaching, s/he has already heard more baloney excuses than you'll ever think up. And do you really think the instructors don't ever talk to each other about students like you?

Go to a doctor, explain that you have been sick, and hope that you get a note. Make it something that it impossible to examine, like back pain or migraines. Take that to the prof, and you should be ok. Universities accept missed classes or late work for illness, but only with proof.
