Yep, you should go to Babycenter.com and figure out when you think your due date is. When you have figured this out, make an appointment with your doctor/midwife for around 8 weeks. They will confirm your pregnancy at that appointment. For now, your at home pregnancy test will very seldom give you a false positive. They are more know for a false negative. CONGRATULATIONS!

Well when you call to tell them that you took a home test most of the time they are going to want to give you a blood test there to make sure. Then after you confirm that you are then they will make you your prenatal appt.

Call your doctors's office and schedule a pregnancy test. This way you will know for sure it is accurate. You can always tell the scheduling nurse that you took the HPT and it was positive. After your test, then the nurse will schedule your first prenatal appointment...or they might do that right away.

If you have taken a HPT and it is positive then you are pg. Call your dr and make your prenatal appt. Most dr don't require you to take another test to confirm pg. Those home tests are pretty accurate at establishing pg. Good luck and enjoy your third.

I would call your doctor and make an appointment for your prenatal visit. Let them know this is your 3rd pregnancy and your age. That may play into how quickly they want to see you. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

When I got a + test, I would usually call my ob/gyn office to setup a prenatal appointment. They always scheduled it for when I was 9-10 weeks along. They usually didn't see patients before that. I think it was because of the risk of early miscarriage or something.

You don't get false positives with these tests - so consider yourself pregnant. I'd just wait until about 10 weeks and then see doc for your first prenatal.

i would just set up your first prenatal exam. obviously they will ask you on the phone the first day of your last period and once you tell them you had a positive hpt they will assume you are pregnant (i think false positives are extremely rare).
Congratulations

I would take that as a yes, i would call your doctor and explain that you took a HPT and that it showed positive, and ask how they want you to make an appt. good luck!

If i were you i would go to the doctor to confirm it. I have had 2 positives HPT and when i went to the doctor they did blood tests and i wasn't pregnant, so I would absolutely go just to make good and sure.
