Your bordering on obsessive compulsive disorder. It sounds like you have some paranoia too. Unfortunetly those aren't healthy. A great suggestion would be to find a good psychiatrist to talk with. There are medications for these disorders as well as the anxiety you go through everytime you feel this way. Don't try to deal with this on your own. Get someone to help you through this. What you are describing is called iminent danger. It consumes every part of your life right now. Insensitive people will tell you it's all in your head, but it is a real problem. Take care of yourself and please get some help.

I think we all have fears, some greater than others. The way I for get mine and generally get over my deepest fears is praying, exerciseing, helping others, getting involved in family matters. It is sort of creating a new image for myself day by day. Keep busy and if you feel like it see a doctor of your choice it could make you feel better and lighten the burden of depressive thoughts. Find out what comedies are on TV and be creative in any way that suits you. Get yourself into any talk group so that you'll have something to do . Give yourself a basis for a good foundation so your mental structure is strong and can withstand and hold up through the tuff times. Your internet aquaintance Marie V

It's called 'pessimism', and we all suffer from it but to different degrees. Just remember, worrying about something makes you ill. Try to lighten the situation. I mean if you are meant to die, it will happen and worrying won't stop it. If you are meant to get a disease, then rather than looking at it like a death sentence, maybe you got it so doctor's can explore and maybe save 1000's after your death. I'm a major pessimist, but I refuse to let it take over my life. I've got better things to do, flowers to smell, books to read, family to love, and life to live than to sit around worrying about things that are unavoidable.

Paranoia mate. You just have to realize the world isn't out to get you, and then look around and see that there is alot of people who have made it to a ripe old age.
The average male lives to something like 69-72 years of age, and that is "average" meaning that is factoring in all the people who do die young. That number is high up there so most people really don't have anything to worry about.
If that isn't enough, talk to a counselor at your office or seek out a therapist, they can usually work through any problems you have.

I'm not saying this out of spite or anything like it, I really mean it. You need to find professional help from a psychologist.
Borrowing from a old popular song, "Paranoia will destroy ya".
