I think that you can go ahead and make your prenatal appt. Depending on how far along you are, the receptionist will then decide if you need to have an appt to confirm your pregnancy. Or, at least that's how they did with me. I found out I was pregnant at 4 1/2 weeks, she said it needed to be confirmed first b/c I was calling so early. Good Luck and Congrats!!! :)

Just call and schedule your first prenatal. Confirming the pregnancy with a doctor won't make you any more pregnant. Just take care of your health assuming you're expecting. Congrats!

yes, call the doctor! congrats!! they WILL confirm the pregnancy at your first appt. BUT you might need to get in before the standard "inital ob appt". for insurance purposes, i HAD to get a dr's confirmation of pregnancy, plus and ultrasound to verify before my insurance would cover ANYTHING that had to do with prenatal care! i tell you what, the hoops one has to jump through! :P good luck, and again congrats!

Yes, call and schedule your first prenatal appointment. They will do another pg test there. Congrats, and don't forget to start your prenatal vitamins right away!
