almost finishing my law degree, taking care of my lil sis and getting her off of the streets, paying for my neice's orthodontic braces, listening to my Mother's problems and being tolerant that she cannot help me with my own, and teaching students (who still recognize me 10 years later) for almost a decade. Wow... a lot more there than I thought.

I'm proud of the fact that my parents are proud of me. I don't think they ever expected much of me. You know, they always told me that I was a pretty girl, so I should be able to marry well. THAT sure didn't happen, but my mother tells me that she's so proud of what a good mother I am & that she wishes she could've been more like me! I've been through alot in my life & I truly believe that my family thought I would just fall apart ie, become a drunk, go nuts, whatever. Instead I did what I had to do & held my head high. Taking the high road is never EASY, but I now have few regrets & I have 5 sons (4 adults) that I am very proud of myself.

My teenage daughter. She is 14 and has spent the last two years working with mentally and physically disables children in school. She is also going to Peru in June with the Girl Scouts to teach handicapped children in small villages along the Amazon River. She will also be helping villagers build chicken coops and teaching them how to have a sustainable income from the chickens.

My son Danny, despite the fact that I was only 15 when I had him, he graduated high school at 16, went to college, and has grown up to be more than I could have ever wished for!

I'm proud of being a good friend/daughter/sister. I'm also proud of getting my degree (with Honours), though that's not quite the life's work that human interaction is.

I am proud of my family. Their journey made them valuable members of society…helping those less fortunate. I sensed their character enriched by robust morality. I observed their growing emotional maturity; and enjoyed jousting with their intellectual growth on ever widening subject matters.

Getting all that Xmas stuff organized and stored back in the hall closet! I think I got it done sooner than last year, and each morning I come into the spacious living room, why, I feel simply DELIGHTED! (and am inspired to skate, but for the rug)
