As a muslim, I know that Islamic Art doesnt have idols, or images or people/human/animals etc. I was aiming for more of the mosaic art within it and mosque's interiors.

Islam is Iconoclastic (depictions of religious figures is considered "idolitry"). There are no depictions of religious figures or scenes. It is considered blasphemy. The architecture, however is quite beautiful.

AdamBK has a good point. Islamic art is beautiful...but, what he sites isn't the only Islamic art....the great differences in form and ornament between countries and eras has led many to speak of the “arts of Islam” rather than of a single “Islamic art.” Contrary to a common belief, Islamic art does include representations of humans, of animals, and even of the Prophet himself: these were banned only in religious sites and works and even there exceptions may be found. Ceramic tiles, vessels and carvings are great examples of the Arts of Islam (which refers to the people not the religion)
Take a look at the site below. Scroll down...it has some beautiful pieces of this art.....

moebiustrip23 was right, Islamic art doesn't depict figures/ icons, and their mosques are beautiful examples of architecture. But the main focus of Islamic art is Calligraphy, which is separated into two groups: Kufic, which is printed letters used mostly for headings and formal inscriptions. and cursive which began around the 12th c. The calligraphic designs are parts of the Koran written in an artistic fashion, and they usually adorn Mosques. Aside from calligraphy, mosques are also decorated with floral and geometric designs usually in mosaics.

I'm no expert but I don't think there is no such thing as Islamic art per-se . The Arab cultures do have considerable artistic talent which they pour into their beautiful architecture, mosaics and carvings.
