-> use a good anti-virus software. Norton is the best imho. If you can't afford this try the free one AVG. Anti-spyware and anti-adware is also important - Spyboy and Adaware are good. (Get these from http://download.com )
i hv many quarrantined viruses.does d cmptr becomes slow with quarantined virus
-> they should not affect the performance at all. However if you want find the quarantine folder on your pc and delete the contents.

the really total way is to delete everything. theres a program ,free download, called KILLDISK
otherwise well delete the quarantines if you can, run more than one virus program say one a bought type, then download a freebie trial, to go over it.. remember to shut each one down as you use the other.or you get conflicts!
remove cookies and temp files...things lurk!
de-fragmenting files also helps speed and functions. check your disk usage too you maybe running close to full.

A fully patched system would not have gotten this virus. Go to Microsoft and get any and all updates. One you may not want right now it IE7.
