Alright, so I'm a freshman in college and so is the guy I'm crushing on...we met during our first semester b/c we had class together and became close friends now this semester we don't get to see each other as often, but we still run into each other. Anyways, I told this guy that I like him (during our first semester @ school)...and well he told me he wasnt looking for a gf @ that time...but now it seems like he's going out of his way to hang out with me and my friends during out lunch time. He's a really sweet guy and I hope he does like me back, but I don't know how to read the signs he's giving me...my friends say they know he likes me just by the way he acts...so my question is...do u think I should give him something (like a card) on Valentine's Day...just so he knows im still interested or not? If you guys think ya get him something...what should it be, or is a card good enough?

how about an anonymous card, but with just enough information in it (eg the postmark or the smell of your perfume or your handwriting) to make him suspect it's from you. Then if he likes you he can respond, and if he doesn't you haven't embarrassed yourself.

If you were up front with him to begin with and he shined you on, then don't get hurt.Never go faster than the guy, he said NO.He's probably hanging out with you at lunch because you feed him.Women tend to feed the ones that we love.I wouldn't get him even a card,he knows you still like him and is already using that. Why try to go any further? They only run when they are being chased---have you been chased lately?Happy Valentines to you...Send yourself a bouquet and sign it Secret Admirer and his feeling will be evident.Hope you don't get hurt, just do it.

I'd say wait and see if he gets you anything. On Valentine's Day, a simple "happy v-tines day" would be sufficient. Since you've already discussed the fact you like him, let him make the move. Make him take some responsibility.

Good Luck!

Of course you can get him card (or something). Just remember you're still in the first step, so don't get him a "I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you" card.

You might even see if he wants to get together for dinner or something that day.

Sure, I'd get him a card. Make sure it's a friendly, funny one, though. Otherwise he may think that you can't take a hint even though he seems to be sending mixed signals.

It's overrated by the commercial hype and the Hallmark people. If you care about someone...show them everyday.

A card won't hurt. If he'd interested you will know.

I'd wait and see if he gets YOU anything. LOL!!! Seriously, maybe don't get him anything anyway, if you do maybe a card. Make it yourself.
