When Matt amost died from the gun Shot and she took him into her room and sit there and nurse him back for weeks. and she had flash backs of her first meetings and the love they shared. and when he came out of the coma their looking longly into each-others eyes it was beautiful.

My favorite moment for the two of them wasn't even on Gunsmoke. It was on the Match Game '74....the puzzle went, "Miss Kitty said after an over night trip with Marshall Dillon, 'Well, now I know!...he (blanks) with his boots on!'"
Contestant's answer: "makes love".
Most popular answer: "sleeps".
For the record, they never really did hook up....but it was clear Miss Kitty had considered it!
Kind of made you wonder if Dillon had a thing for Festus!

When Miss Kitty thought she was pregnant, and Festus thought he was the dad and Matt Dillon got all pissed off and put a cap in Festus' a**! Priceless!
