My husband and I are small business owners, we are contemplating divorce, anyone out there know the financial implications of divorce and splitting a company?

If you are joint and equal owners then you both own half the business - so you have to decide as to wether you continue to work together or one buys the other out. You need to either thrash it out amicably or seek legal advice.

Without any information on the company - can't give any other help.

You may as well just sell the company and split the proceeds between the lawyers. That's usually what happens in the end anyway. Why prolong the agony?
