I used to love that show, and I still do, actually! My children watch it now, and I was just wondering if anyone knew what ever happened to Linda and Olivia. And is Susan still on there? You see Gordon all the time, but not Susan so much. And what about Bruno, the trash guy who used to take Oscar for walks, and Herry Monster?

I know dear Mr. Hooper passed away, but am I missing anyone else? It seems like most of the cast has been on forever, and it just makes me wonder why the others left. I love sign language, and I really miss Linda!

It's great to hear of other fans out there! But does anyone know about the characters I asked about? I liked the answer that gave me the dates of everyone's departures, but does anyone know why?

Sorry to be a pest. Just curious. Thanks!

Alaina Hall (Olivia) has gone on to other acting roles after leaving the cast in 1988 and was just recently in two episodes of "ER".
Linda Bove (Linda) left "Sesame Street" in 2003.
Loretta Long (Susan) is one of three original cast members still on the show, along with Bob McGrath (Bob) and Caroll Spinney (Big Bird).
Bruno the silent trashman was played by Carroll Spinney as well.
Herry (voice of Jerry Nelson) last appeared in 2004.

I did and when my daughter was little I watched it with her and found a lot of adult jokes in there for me!

My fsavorites then and even now are Oscar and SUPER GROVER!!!! remember Grover's mom?? Too funny.

I agree with the person who said its focused too much on Elmo now.
Don't get me wrong, I love some Elmo, but too much of any mosnter can stink.. LOL

Of course I did. Now it revolves too much around Elmo. I always liked Bert and Ernie.
