I am turning 37 in a couple of weeks and I am the proud owner of an Ipod......I have the hot pink one.....do you think I should exchange it for an more mature color now that I am officially in the old folks club....P.S. I know how it works too.....

You consider 37 and 39 old. Shame on you.

Yes, your parents will know what a IPod is. I am 41 and I have one.

You must be a child because you're parents are not old....their not even middle aged yet! Of course they know what an ipod is and would probably enjoy using it. Just because we turn 30 doesn't mean we have 1 foot in the grave. Your parents are a lot smarter than you give them credit for.

39 and 37? Won't the iPods interfere with their pacemakers? But they might like one, since wheelchair scooters don't usually come with radios.

Well, I am there age and I do not feel old. We may always grow old but that does not mean we have to grow up. This also may be a chance for you to spend more time with them showing them how to use the i-pod and may also give them time to wind down after a hard day. One other thing if they like music they will love the i-pod, as well as spending time with you.

OH that is wrong on soo many levels.......not the I-pod thing, but thinking 39 and 37 is old!

I keep my I-pod attached to my walker and listen to big band swing music on it.....oh wait I'm 36 and that ain't OLD!

I think they will know what an I-pod is.

First...............please don't say their old, I know compared to your age it may seem that way. Actually they are in their prime. Old is 75. Now about the ipod.... Do they like Cell Phones?... Computers?......If yes then they like advanced technology. Now big question....do they like music? Enough to carry it around with them? Do the have the time to download? You know what? I think you should buy yourself one, and get them something else.
