Just call the marriage license people for the city/county that you got married in. I highly doubt it would cost much to replace. The price of replacement would depend on where you live.

Go find your local office search Google for

Call the county clerk that you filed the marriage certificate. Order a new one (should be around $10 - $20). Once this comes in file for divorce. If he is not going to contest the divorce file the damn thing yourself. It costs about $600 to do it yourself (depending on State) they are easy to do.

You can request another marriage certificate online.
If your husband is not contesting the divorce you can get one lawyer together. My parents did that and just used the lawyer to help them fill out all the paperwork...with just one fee! Good luck

You marriage cert should be on file in the county where you got married--you don't need it to file for divorce. I don't know what State you are in, but you should be able to get an uncontested divorced for about a $1000 and that would include your filing fee and such. You need to talk to an attorney, file the divorce, get him served and get a court date so you can get some closure on this.

You don't need your certificate to get divorced. I never presented my marriage certificate, and was divorced. If you lost it, go to you County Clerk's office, and they should be able to get you a copy of it. Here, it is $12, but it may vary from place to place.

Texas has the Bureau of Vital Statistics, where they can be ordered online. Your state may also have a website where this is possible.

Yes...go to your nearest courthouse to get a copy of your marriage certificate. No you will not be fined.

question 2 ) it can range from different amounts due to how long the marriage was the lowest cost would be $350.00. If more papers are needed that means attorney time also. Which means more money. Best of luck !

your lawyer fees depend entirly on where you live, the amout of property you share and if you have children. the more you have to deal with the more expensive it is. and it really makes no difference about the marriage certificate, you can get a new one from the court house anytime and it only costs mabie $20.
