[Yes, I am under a doctors care, I go for an ultrasound this week]... I'm just curious if you have one and you can not take birth control pills to help shrink it (I am at high risk for blood clots), do they HAVE to do surgery to remove it or will it ever go away on it's own? They found it a few months ago during a MRI for something else and it's still there.

Also, I know I'm young, but IF it were cancer, they would have had a good idea of that from the MRI pictures, right?

I had one at age 24. I had to have it surgically removed. More than likely, the doctor can tell by the way it feels if it is malignant or not. Depending on what kind of cyst it is will determine the liklihood that it will go away on its own or have to be removed.

So..
The conventional medical approach to treating ovarian cysts is the most common with many treatment options yet the results are almost always short term and side effects can be nasty. Therefore, more women are turning towards alternative forms of treatment for their ovarian cysts condition.

There is an holistic ovarian cyst solution guaranteed to permanently cure all types of ovarian cysts and dramatically improve the overall quality of your life, naturally, without the use prescription medication or surgery, and without any side effects.

Nina,

Before you agree to invasive surgery, there are things you could try.

* Bioidentical progesterone cream! Ovarian cysts are estrogen-driven, meaning the more estrogen you feed to the cyst, the larger it will grow. If you balance that estrogen out with progesterone (the body's own natural "anti-estrogen"), you stand a good chance of seeing the cyst shrink.

* Limit your exposure to xenoestrogens in your environment and foods. Cut out dairy, meat (unless they are organic) and caffeine - all known to have hormonal activity.

Check a book out of your library called "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause" by Dr. John Lee. It does a fantastic job of explaining why women today are experiencing so many hormonal problems!

I had an ovarian cyst removed in 1992, and wish I knew then that I could have done something other than surgery.

Good luck to you!

I'm really not sure, but I wish you the best of luck. I see you already have a little one so if they do have to remove it or anything like that atleast you have the pleasure of knowing you already have a kid. I'd also just like to say that you are GORGEOUS. Your husband is a very lucky guy, and who uses film cameras anymore? you have a computer, get a digicam! You'll know what you're pictures are going to look like before you have them developed, if you choose to have them in 5x7's or 6x9's or whatever, and you can take HUNDREDS of pictures and only choose the very best ones to be developed. Any event I go to I fill up the memory card, might as well, it doesn't cost anymore. I peel off 96 pics at a soccer game, and then delete all but the best. snap snap snap snap snap, if you did that with a 35mm it'd cost you a fortune.
