Dont listen to these ppl here! THis is a medical problem and you need medical help. Its possible that while they were *in there* they accidentally clipped something. My sister in law had a C and things are back to normal for her. CAll the doctors office or the hospital and talk to a nurse and ask them OR go to WebMD.com ppl here will say anything to make themselfs look smart

I would say its not normal. I myself had a c-section and bled from the time I came home for about a week and a half. Then after that was over I started having well not so normal periods but I did have them maybe evey other month or so. You need to make a doctors appointment and let your doctor check you out. Something may be going on in there that you need to know about. I had a cyst on my ovary is why mine were so unpredictable..Hope I helped...

after having a baby your periods can take a year to get back to normal but im not to sure about not having one for 9 1/2 months. Have you spoke to your doctor or midwife about this im sure there is someone that can tell you whats going on. depending on your age you couldve hit an early menopause and that could b the reason for no period. Pregnancy changes your body completely i would go see a health professional

If you are breastfeeding it could be that, I didnt have a period untill my first was about 9/10 months old, although i did not have a c section, otherwise you might want to ask the health visitor or doctor

Are you breastfeeding? If so.. this can stop you from having a period. If not, you should be at the doctor finding out what is wrong. There could be a blockage or cyst or tumor on your ovaries and this could be very painful later on. Good luck.

Are you breastfeeding? That would prolong the absence of a period.
I went 15 months after the birth of my daughter, with no period, because I was nursing.

No, it's not normal. You should call the doctor. Unless you're breastfeeding, then your periods can be delayed up to a year typically.

I know my doctor mentioned that it could take awhile for mine to come back - she didn't mention how long though. Breastfeeding can delay it...were you regular to begin with? MB has a telehealth number I use sometimes for questions like this...or sometimes public health has a clinic. I would just want to make sure everything was working ok. :)

are you still breastfeeding?
call a nurseline. or webmd or something like that. no period is not a bad thing UNLESS you want to get pregnant again. Not that it is a guarnetee against pregnancy; and, as a matter of fact, could you BE pregnant???
