Yahoo! Answers existed 20 years ago?? Bad, good, or indifferent??

I had no idea what a computer was 20 years ago. I would have been so intimidated that all of my questions would have been about how to turn the contraption on!!!
But I guarantee........ no one would have used Wikipedia or Google to look up their answers. *wink*

The CIA would have been watching this pretty closely...much like they probably are now. Communism was still out there and the Berlin Wall was still up. I don't think even if the technology was available 20 years ago, this would even be allowed.

different-
there would be a lot of difference between the way of thinking of people of different countries.(especially if they are from different continents)
it does exist even today but the gap has been visibly reduced in the last 5 years.

It would have been all about long-hair bands,
Watergate, vegetarianism, John Lennon,
power crystals and The Wonder Years.
And it would probably be gone by now.

Well, it would be displayed via that nasty flourescent green font , blackish background, big fat monitor. It could have been a competitor to Pong.
