If your prenatals are making you sick you should try taking them with a glass of milk right before you go to bed. This always worked for me! If you have polycystic ovaries I would take the vitamins the doctor prescribed, even though you can purchase them over the counter. Good Luck!

i substitute into merely in a prenatal classification a pair months in the past and the nurse who ran the class suggested that it did not count. Her favorites have continually been the Kaiser variety Prenatal supplements through fact they have been easier on the tummy. She suggested over the counter is high-quality and in case you abdomen has a not undemanding time with them take them in the past you pass to mattress. I picked mine up at Walmart and do could take them at night so as to not get an disillusioned abdomen. as long as they're prenatal it would be high-quality...yet pay attention of different supplements merely through fact it gives you a super form of a few particular nutrition it incredibly is ignored in the prescription, there are some supplements you do not desire too lots of once you're pregnant.

I had PCOS as well and my doctor didn't recommend anything other than regular prenatal vitamins. I bought mine at the pharmacy - usually behind the counter and was told that the generic brand was as good as the name brand and saved a few bucks that way.

You can buy prenatals over the counter but they basically have the same stuff in them so it may make you sick as well. My last two pregnancies I couldn't take prenatals because they made me sick so my doc had me take flintstone vitamins.

No, you have to get a prescription. If your vitamins are bothering you, just call and talk to the nurse or your doctor. Vitamins don't usually cause nausea but I guess they could if they conflict with another medication you are on.
Ask if there is another brand they can call in for you to the pharmacy.

You can. I buy mine over the counter because the prescription ones make me very sick. Also.. I take them at bedtime so I can sleep if they make me sick. You can get them in any pharmacy area of most stores. Good luck

You can get some pregnancy vitamins over the counter. Just ask your pharmacist and they should be able to help you.

If you eat a very well balanced diet, you dont need vitamins. Vitamins are for people that dont get what they need from foods. Over the counter vitamins are fine if your diet is lacking nutrients.
