The virus is in windows system 32. The computer works fine for anything except I can't go online. Can anyone answer this?

It doesn't matter which window you will install, because virus will be removed anyway, because when you install windows they rewrite system 32 directory. Ofcourse Vista has better security, so I recomend it ;)

How do you know your computer will accept and run Vista? You should check the requirements before you do this. And why do you not have antivirus protection, no matter what your operating system is?

Answer is YES

if you want to remove the virus then install a virus guard

(before do it use virus cleaning boot disk)

installing vista will not remove a virus
you will need to get your pc clean to remove it

why pay when it is free

go to a friend's house and download
