Granted that some of the stuff on video streaming sites is illegal anyway, is watching streaming programs off of places like YouTube and dailymotion.com illegal without a UK tv license?

Most people watch TV online now via laptops/tablets plugged into the TV or directly on a Smart TV. if you install a VPN you pick up Internet via another location so isn't traceable to you and also allows you to watch American TV content aswell.

TV Broadcast is related only for TV.... but our guys in Parlament are already trying to change it extending also to computers... (once computer are able to act as a TV receptors)

Youtube can be illegal when associated to multimedia piracy like Naruto or Smallvile' series.

i am not totally sure but as it used to be was that any device used to recieve tv/video signals was eligible for a licence,how ever this may be different because it is on the net.any way if you need a tv licence dont worry they will soon track you down as not having a tv licence is very hard to get away with these days.

You need a TV licence if you have any equipment that can pick up a TV signal. This includes a TV video or a computer
