Step 1 You have got to get it in your mind that you want to quit

Or Think of this a carton of cigs is $11 in Mexico the rest is taxes for them to steal.

Or you could fill my shoes
Can't go anywhere without an oxygen tank
Have to wait all day once a week for oxygen delivery
Been thru many COPD meds that made me sick
Can't breath good enough for sex
Can't travel

You didn't say how much you smoke, Most of the quit smoking aids are for 1/2 pack a day smokers Over 2 packs a day that stuff is a waste of money

Ask Dr for an anti Anxiety med, withdrawal is an anxiety attack
(a lot cheaper than zyban)

For one reason how much longer do you want to live and with out being sick all the time. I quit smoking after 40 years ND I was up to wt 2 packs ND more a day. Guess how much money save every day 11 to fifteen. Fell better and can breath with out couching all the time and don't smell lick cig smoke. Quit cold TURKEY was not easy at all but my friend foe 25 years died at the end of Aug last year from Cancer an two days before he died asked for cig. Doctor said give him what he wants. LITTLE LATE TO STOP NOW>

I threw remaining cigs out & then started saving for a motorcycle with the money I had been spending on cigs. Chew chewing gum or get nicorette patches or gum. I smoked for 22 years and it took 2 or 3 attempts to give up but I havnt had a cigarette for 3 years and 1 month. Just keep trying. good luck.

You can do it!! But you have to decide that's what you really want!!

First, visit www.whyquit.com.
Remember to take it one day at a time. You can quit just for one day. You can muscle through this one craving. Also remember that your worst craving will last only about 3 minutes and that the worst part is over after 3 days. Go to whyquit to get inspiration as to why you don't want that tobacco smoke in your body..go NOW!!
Good luck!!

I used Zyban -- after about 2-3 days, there were no cravings at all. When I would stand outside with friends at work who smoke, and I'd light up out of habit, after 1 or 2 puffs I'd want to put out my cigarette. It makes you not get the "buzz" anymore, and then all you have is a gross nasty cigarette. Throw them away and decide not to buy them anymore. Save the money for something you want as a reward. Your sense of smell and taste will sharpen.

The only way I found to do it was by going "cold turkey", the first week was the hardest, so I chewed gum and kept busy. After that it got easier. I used to smoke 2 packs a day. Believe in yourself!

I had been smoking for 31 years from the age of 16 and quit with the help of my doctor subscribing Chantix for me. This is the only thing that worked for me. I tried everything else previously including hypnosis, laser therapy, Zyban, nicitrol, commit, and this was the only thing that worked for me. I did cold turkey after taking Chantix for 2 weeks prior to stopping. I highly recommend you at least try it for your own health and the health of those around you!! Good Luck!!!!!!
