Heroes Theories??

Question

What are your theories after last night's Heroes?

-In the little clips, it shows Claire's birth mom (or who we are to believe she is now) calling a man saying "Our daughter just found me", who do you think it is? Do you think it's someone already on the show?

-Do you think the cop (his name is Matt, right?)'s wife is pregnant with his child?

Any other theories?? I love this show.

Wow, you guys have some great theories. My husband has the theory of Claire's birth dad being her "adoptive" dad.. it could be. Nothing is as it seems with Claire but I agree that it is predictable which this show tries to be all but! It's a great show. I love it.

i'm not sure who claire's father could be, but i'm almost positive the baby's father is not the cop - i mean, i still can't believe he stayed with her, but i'm sure the baby is his partner's.

The clues to finding the father are that he has to have been near Kermit Texas in 1990. He has to be caucasian and dress in a business shirt with a stylish watch. He also may have the last name Gordon.

Everyone is thinking it is Nathan but that makes no sense given his astonishment when he flew out of his car that night he and his wife were attacked by Linderman and she wound up crippled.

It is more likely to be Bennett given he was supposedly able to have talked to Meredith when Claire was sick as a child. That comes from a discussion with Sandra, her adoptive mother.

I am hoping it is someone else on the list as Bennett would make for a lousy plot twist, especially since he is about to be attacked by Sylar on route to Claire. That being stated it doesn't seem likelt that he would be on the other side of that phone call.

There is always the possibility that her father is Linderman and they fake her death to keep him from knowing she exists. It could be a twisted attempt to bring Star Wars into this show. She may be the only one capable of taking down her father.

At any rate there are a whole bunch of names and options. Enjoy thinking about this.

On the baby, It sure better be his or he will know it soon enough, like he knew she cheated on him.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Linderman turned out to be Leonard Nemoy or William Shatner? They already have George Takei. Lets bring in anothe Star Trek alum and mess with people even more.

I have a feeling Linderman is immortal, the warlord in the painting, and somehow everyone is connected to him and the the impending eclipse.

I wondered who she was talking to also. My big theory is that everything involves LInderman - he has the sword, he had the picture Peter wnated, he's connected to DL, Nikki, Nathan and Peter's family, he's all over the place. So maybe it's him.
As far as Matt's wife - boy talk about mama's baby, daddy's maybe. That's the first thing I wondered about - is it Matt's kid or the other cop. I think the Haitian knows a lot more than he's telling, but Claire is starting to show signs that she remembers and her father is wondering. Also, Nathan is making me mad again because he has to know this is real, but it's like he's in extreme denial. He's going to be the one to get Peter killed if he's not careful. Love the invisible guy, and loved watching Micah jack the ATM - I knew that kid had a power, and I had a feeling that would be it. Wonder what DL will do now. It's hard to give back money when you don't have any.
We'll see. As usual, I go back on Fridays and play catch up on the SciFi channel.

Great theories! How about these unanswered (and unasked!) questions:

-Does George Takei have any powers? How does he fit in?

My theory is that he is a leader of the yakuza, and because Linderman's people had caught Hiro and Ando when they were cheating in Vegas, word got back via those underground, crime lord ways to Takei about his son getting into trouble with the Linderman's. Maybe they have some sort of truce going on, or other dealings and Hiro is screwing up his dad's operations, or else why would he and his goons fly all the way to the US to pick them up?

And by the way, Claire kinda looked like her mom, but Hiro and his father look absolutely nothing alike! So typecasting (but it's George Takai, so we'll let that slide).

-How and why is Hiro's powers controlled/focused by his sword? Powers are supposed to be genetic, not external... the only other anomoly is Sylar being able to see how things work and changing his own brain to get powers rather than having it be genetic.

-What is Mohinder's power?

I think it could be the power to resist any other person's power. Remember when Eve told him to stay and not go to India early in the show, before we knew what Eve's power was? He said no. No one else other than HRG and the Haitian could refuse her.

-Does HRG have any powers?

He's got to have something other than the Haitian in order to deal with all these dangerous people! If the Haitian turns on him, which it looks like he is, then what's he got as leverage? Especially since it looks like he's about to eat it with Sylar?

first off, I love Heroes!!!
I don't know who Claire's father will be, but Mr. Bennet was my first thought!!! It will really suck if it is Mr. Bennet, because then he will know that Claire knows what's going on and that the Haitan didn't erase her mind! I am so scared he will find out!! I think if he doesn't find out now, he will find out when Hanah (wireless) is introduced, because she can read emails and text messages and Claire is always sending text messages!! Hopefully the Haitian warns her about that!!! Sorry, i got side tracked, back to Claire's father... But doesn't Mr. Bennet think that Claire's real mother is dead!?!? Because he was telling Isaac Mendez that he adopted Claire when her real mom died!!Even the Haitan thinks that her parents are dead. my point is, in the clip for next week, when Claire's real mom calls her real dad, the conversation sounds friendly like they have kept intouch with eachother. If it would have been Mr. Bennet, I think the conversation would have been a little more angry. Because i know if i would have had a baby with a guy 14 years ago, but i thought my baby died, but then realized that my baby was alive and the real father was raising her, my conversation on the phone wouldn't be, "Our baby found us" in a calm voice, it would be "You Mo Fo, I'm going to find you!!!!" Even though Mr. Bennet was my first suspect, for these reasons, this is why i am not sure that it is him, but as we have seen, anything can happen!! My next guess would be Nathan as the father, but only because of the sleeve of the shirt looked like a business shirt which is what he always wears, but who knows! Darn Heroes, they keep me in suspense!! I can't wait till next week!

actually, that was the same question i was going to ask! but i do have some theories. i also think that claire's real father could be her "adopted father". but i was also thinking it might be someone we havent seen before. or, someone we've only seen on the show a couple of times(as a small part), or even someone we've seen a lot in the background. yes, i dont think the cop is the real father of his wife's baby, but i hope he is. just because it would be way too obvious. i mean, i love the show, but i already know what most of the characters say, before they say it, and i know whats going to happen. hopefully theres some more twists and turns in this show, or im afraid i might even lose interest(i hope not!). if you get anymore ideas, you should deffidently let me know. ♥ =] =)

My girlfriend said it would be a trip if it were Sylar that is Claire's dad, since the male arm that held the phone when she called was hairy, but even she knows that could not be possible..Sylar looks fairly young himself, and he himself would kill that woman for her fire making abilities...

Maybe HRG is Claire's real father after all, and he talked claire's mom into giving her him by convincing her that her firepower could harm the baby..Maybe she did burn her at one point.

When Matt's wife told him she was pregnant, I said out loud, "No, you are pregnant with the other cop's kid."


I am thinking Sylar will still be the cause of the explosion..Hiro seems to be changing the future with his trips..

I think Claire's adopted dad could actually be her real dad,or possibly Linderman.
I don't think Silar is her father because the mother made a call to someone,and Silar is locked up or on the run.

I'm not sure who's baby it is,but if its matts then you might have a super powered baby running around.

I think Claire's daddy is already on the show. Either her "father" or Nathan Petrelli (sp?). But they said 36 ppl. What are the odds thay are all in the US? So far only Hiro and the mind eraser are not American. My whole family loves this show. My kids at college watch it then we talk online about it! How sad are we??

I'm thinking Claire's real dad could actually be her adopted dad, Nathan Pitrelli, or Silar! And as for the baby, I don't think it's Matt's and his wife will start thinking it isn't either and he'll read her thoughts but I don't think he'll say anything about it right away though.

I don't think it was Sylar, because he can only get powers by killing people, and his killing spree started six months ago.
The Petrellis are too young to have a 17-year-old daughter.
Could it be Ted "Radioactive Man" Sprague?
Why did they not show Ms. Gordon's face right away? Are we supposed to have recognized her?
