Having a hard time figuring how many series (seasons in US speak) there were... I think it was two, but am not sure.
Also, how many episodes were there in the following series?

There were two series' definetly. The first one had eight episodes and the second one had two hour long episodes that tied everything up.

2 series, and a two part special to finish off.
I think there were 6 episodes in each series.
There were many more in the American version of QAF.
*add, I used to live in Manchester, and went to canal street often. We'd get to see the scenes being filmed on the street, and in Via Fossa.

i'm from American and that i attempted to observe the united kingdom version (the unique) yet i could no longer comprehend the Manchester accents. I gave up after a million episode. i found the U. S. version slightly too very similar to a cleansing soap opera and that i'm no longer too into that factor of tale format.
