Muse are, in my opinion, the best live band around at the moment. I saw them play at Newcastle, UK a couple of months back. The energy they put into their shows is amazing, everything about their live shows are a class above any other live bands I've seen.
At the gig they played a mixture of old and new – they’ve had so many classics: Hysteria, New Born, Feeling Good (a cover yes, but their version's amazing), Plug in Baby, etc etc.
The band opened the gig with Take a Bow, so much better live, and really got a special atmosphere going for the rest of the night.
They played quite a few songs from the latest album, Knights of Cydonia was especially good, as was Supermassive Black Hole, the crowd went crazy for both.
I'd personally say Muse are one of the best bands around at the moment, anywhere. If any of you get a chance to see them, go for it, you won't regret it. All of their albums are top class, and you should have a listen to them if you haven’t already.

I love them to death! They r so freaking cool no matter what other people say,like too bland,not rocking enuf or too lame.Their songs are good n they deserve more appreciation!i don't know what the hell the person is saying above me about the strokes being a better band.Their music is different from muse n muse were nominated for a mercury award last year!how cool is that? They r performing in my country next month and i really want to catch them live but i can't,and i'm quite sad about that.

Well I'd say amazingly so but I'm a bit biased!. Like Nick below I saw them in Newcastle a couple of months ago too and I was totally blown away; do go if you ever get the chance to see them, you won't be disappointed. I'm going to Wembley on the 16th June; they were that good I want to do it all over again! I could go on; you did ask if anybody had anything to say about them, but I'll leave it at best band in the world today, as i could go on all day otherwise!.

Saw them at Lowlands music festival in Holland in summer 06 they headlined the Sunday main stage. They owned the crowd it was so awesome. A truly epic band.

I love them, got into them quite recently and haven't seen them live so far... I've been playing Black Holes and Revelations for at least two months, every day, while driving to and back from work.

On a scale from One to Ten, I would rate them as 8, When they are good they are very good, but last single "Kinghts Of Cydonia" was too pompous for my liking, sorry.

i really like the live stuff but one complaint,a lot of the songs sound the same....still think they are cool

they are the uk band apart from u2 and i would rate muse as being better than u2. band's like the killers, razorlight and kaiser chiefs do give them stiff competition though.

I think they are very bland. They have had a couple of decent singles, but nothing I'd class as great.
