There is so much more to writing than just "wanting" to do it. The idea has to come from you...not the answers on a web site. It has to be something you are passionate about and you have to be devoted to it to actually write a book. Start with an article...or a short story....get some education about the writing, editing and publishing process and then go for it. Good luck

Your best bet is using some different Idea methods. Like when i cant think of anything. I jot down the first thing that comes to my mind and then see if I can work with anything I come up with. If I cant then it usually means i habe writers block and I just wait until and idead comes to me. (the smallest of things can trigger an idea, its just depends on how you work with it.) When writing a book you have to think of what time and settting you want it to be in, what age group your writing for, fiction non-fiction ect. and most importantly the conflict and conflict resolution (which not all books necessarily have a resolution) If there is no conflict then there really is no book unless its a text book or something. anywhoooo just try to find something to get your creative juices flowing, only you can come up with an idea that no one else has thinks of and only you know what works for you. Just make sure its something YOU are really interested in because if your not interested in the plot and everything then your gonna get bored and waste your time. But trying to get ideas from other people isnt really gonna cut it. Writing a book takes alot of time and planning, Its not a peice of cake.

Just get started and let your creativity flow. Try to at least put in 15 minutes a day. Maybe on super good days you will write for hours. Don't force it, but discipline yourself. If you don't feel like writing, use your 15 minutes to proofread old passages. That's how I finished my book, it ended up 200 pages in WORD. I didn't publish it, but at least I got the story out, and I feel proud of it.

If you're a big fan of change, you could always try to write about gay people- like what David Levithan did with his Boy Meets Boy.
Or you could pull off horror in alls its novel glory in style with Stephen King or something that your little brother would read like R.L. Stine
Maybe something like a fantasy world that is alsmot akin to Narnia, Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter

Don't write it so that it can be published. It probably won't be.
Start with a plan of what you want to write, and good luck!

You can always find inspiration in everyday life. Become an observer and decide what you can turn into a good story.

Review your life and write about the most interesting conflicts you've had, but fictionalize them.
