First and foremost, Pathology is changes caused by disease. It is the disturbance of function that a disease causes in an organ as distinct from any changes in the structure that might be caused.

In psychology, taking mental disease for instance, emothion can create changes that can affect the mental state of a person, this emotion will there fore be abstract from the social behaviour of the individual.

pathos is phisical sikness, psychos is brain, so i can only give a traduction from Greek. if pathology andles phisical problems, psychology andles with (brain)psycho desorders.
