i have these black winter boots, sketchers brand and after walking in the snow, they leave white marks all over the BLACk boots, does anyone know how to get rid of them? Because it doesnt exactly look to good, should have been smarter when picking the colors, oh well..........

I would use a mild soap like ivory liquid and just mix with a little water and use a rag and clean them. If all else fails, use a little black show polish to make them look new.

Wipe them with a damp cloth then apply mink oil, that should protect them from the salt. No matter the colour of the boots this is going to happen.

wash it with spirit , leave it in sun light for 4-5 hours then polish it with any brandede boot polish & again leave in sunlight for 4-5 hours.

Are the boots suade, or leather? if they are suade, take a soft bristle brush to them, if the are leather, get a good mink oil and treat them
