Is Beyond Good and Evil a good game?

I have heard people tell me it was, and I have heard people say it wasn't. I was wondering what the general concences was before I went through the trouble of finding it.

Yes its a pretty fun game, the only complaint that I had was that it was to short and wasn't very hard once you got used to the controls.
