My friends name is Alyson and her husband’s name is Austin.
She has 3 kids, Amy (7), Aaron ( 5) and Andy ( Andrea) (3)
She is having another baby and she can’t decide on the name it’s a girl. She’s thinking about Avery, April, or Ava? Which do you like? Can you think of any other girl names beginning with A? Please don’t give too many, she’s mainly looking for your opinion between Avery, April & Ava.
Thanks, H. S. for Alyson

In my opinion Ava sounds like it would be a name for an older person. My mil wants me to name my baby(6months pregnant) Ava but every time I hear it I think of Zha-Zha(sp) Gabore and Ava Gabore and I change my mind real quick. Avery is a nice name but it is unisex and sounds more male than female so, that leaves April. It does sound the best when you say all of the kids names and then add in April. Like if you say" Amy,Aaron, Andy and April come here." You can also look at is as having two with the ee sound at the end of their names and two w/out. It is hard to come up with girl names especially when your using a pattern.Good luck to your friend and I hope that she had an easy time deciding the babies name.

Ava was a top 10 name last year so if that matters to Alyson then I would go with Avery.
Ava means like a bird and Avery means elf ruler.
That may help you, too!
Good Luck :-)

I like April and Ava but i would need to know what the middle name is before making my final decision. My personal Favorite is Ashley. I want to name my next child (whenever that will be again) Ashley and middle name Anne. Good Luck! By the way, she's picked very good names so far..Good choice on the name Andrea ;) lol....

I think that Ava or Avery are the best ones. There are many A names out there. My son is Addison.. but it seems to be getting more popular for the girls.. Addysen is how a cousin spells it.. I sure did not know that was her name.. or his name would have been Gabriel..lol. Also Ainsley is different. Good luck!

I really like the sound of Ava. Avery is becoming a popular name and with the name April, well its a month not really a now name.
Other A names that came to mind here that I thought were pretty are .... Anna & Annelise.

I have always liked the name Ava.
Avery is a good name, but it seems kind of weird for a girl to me only because I know a boy with that name.

I really like the names Avery & Ava. In fact those are on my baby name list as well. April is only cute to me if the baby is born in April.
My daughter is Alyssa, and I also like the name Anna.
