Anyone have any cool leg warmer patterns?? I looked at the ones on Magknits, and I only found one on knitty (the fair isle one). Didn't like those much. Send some good ones my way, anything at all!

Thanks!

Hi.
I like this pattern that was featured on the diynetwork show "knitty gritty"

http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_3555111,00.html
although, they have the worst picture I've seen in a while. It looks much better in the episode.

The patternn is also available Here:

with just barely better photos. at least, they have a full shot of the legwarmer on this one.

Kimmy, Leg heaters are only on the instant away tubes with ribbing at the two ends. you ought to adapt only approximately any sock cuff progression to a leg warmer by using technique of only casting on an comparable style of stitches for the backside cuff because of the fact the solid on for a sock indoors an comparable yarn weight, knit 2 inches of ribbing, then bypass to stockinette stitch for some inches, degree your gauge, and then the leg they're to be worn on around the main severe element of the calf, determine the form of stitches you want to bypass around that and develop gradually to that quantity by using technique of increasing one stitch at each and every area of the transforming into a member of stitch yet another row till at last you attain that quantity. Then knitting even on your length minus the precise cuff. Rib the precise cuff and bind off loosely.
