Giant pandas seem pretty quiet,but they can bleat,roar,growl,and honk.
Giant pandas are technically carnivores,but they have adapted to live mostly on bamboo.They will eat small mammals if they can catch them though.
Like other types of bears,giant pandas are curious and playful,especially when they are young.
In zoos,they like to play with enrichment items like piles of ice or sawdust,puzzles made of bamboo with food inside,and different scents like spices.
Giant pandas' length is about 1.5 meters,weigh about(100-150 kilograms),with males about 10% larger than females.
Life span:about 14-20 years in wide,up to 30 years in managed care.
Gestation:84 to 164 days.
Number of young at birth 1 or 2.
Size at birth (113 grams).
Age of maturity:males 6-7 years.

Bamboo consists of 99% of their diet. there are anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 in the wild. The gestation period is any where from 3 to 6 months. Pandas only have 1 chance to get pregnant each year. the between birth interval is usally 2 years. The life expectancy is around 25 years. They are very rare and it is illeagal to hunt them.

They're not bears, they are most closely related to a small raccoon-like creature. The main thing they eat is bamboo shoots, they are on the badge of the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature).
