It was a customer service job, involving selling and talking people into keeping the products past the trial--I wasn't any good at it, but have little work experience. I'm sending out resumes now for new jobs, and want to put my best foot forward.
I feel this job just wasn't for me, and would do much better in a field where I can talk to people and answer legitimate questions--not selling, not convincing people to keep what they don't want, just helping people get what they need.
I appreciate the help greatly!

Unless you are going to use the place as a reference or use the experience as a part of your work history then anything less than 45 days is acceptable to not be included..
You may be asked at some point what you did during that gap and you can explain, however, if you are applying for state or govt work then it has to go on there. If you omit it and they find it you can be terminated for lying by omission..
And not everyone is cut out to be a sales person.. Smart of you to recognize it right away.. Good luck in your endeavors.

I don't see any reason to include it. If they ask what you were doing for that month, tell them you were working on personal development. They usually won't pry after that.
