i am looking for a round neck (shoulder edges) tiny sleeveed 50's cocktail dress pattern! i cant find one that doesnt cost the earth! found an oleg cassini cocktail dress-which is exactly what i want, if this helps anyone, the internet is causing me a nightmare, and just wondered if anyone could help?

I am the same way, I looove the 50's and 60's patterns. Its expensive but I go to Poshgirlvintage.com for dresses. Go there for ideas at least. Here is a site I found old patterns at. (Keep in mind the sizes were VERY different back then if your a 6 now you'll need like a 16. Im not sure but here:

Walmart the fabric department. They have tons of patterns.

Try Ebay. They have many classic patterns for sale!

have you searched on the web there are some really good craft shops on line ,or contact a sewing magazine they should know where to get them good luck
