If it's a nice day, I'd recommend taking the bus to Green Lake Community Center. They have outdoor basketball courts, but on nice days, they are always full and there's always someone to shoot hoops with. Plus, it's free!

From the Space Needle, take the 16 from 5th Ave (near EMP). It will drop you off within blocks of Green Lake on Woodlawn Ave. Just tell the bus driver you want to get off near the community center.

PS ~ I wouldn't recommend going to the YMCA...it will cost you $10 to get in the door and you'll be playing basketball with a bunch of retired people or people who can't afford a regular gym membership, including people with disabilities, mental illness, etc. (Believe me, I used to be a member!)

Go to google or try looking in the Yahoo Yellow Pages for your area.

no one knows for sure... the details are far down the pike still... if it happens... he's only said as much as "it would be nice"... no further plans made... he can raise funds though... and if Bush can find someone to buy him a bunch of plates for hundreds of thousands of dollars... I feel fairly confident that Obama could find someone to pony up for the court, if he was so inclined...
