This has been happening to me a lot recently and the cause is most likely stress and all the little things that are underlying. you're body is very good at adapting and taking care of itself which is probably why it is shutting down for longer. It is very important to get into a pattern of sleep and you will find that once you've kept it up for a while, it will be easier to get up and you will have more energy during the day too ! Try going to bed about 11 and get up at 7 (yes I know it seems early) that's a good 8 hours sleep which a lot of scientists say is about right. I don't know if you drink at night, but try and keep that down to just the weekends as alcohol stops you from sleeping properly. If none of this works, go see a doctor and talk to them as it may be a medical problem. Hope this helped

Yes stress will cause you to require more sleep. It's a form of avoidance. If you've been keeping late hours for a while, you may have become over tired, and your body is trying to catch up. You may have a sleep deficit. Try going to bed a little earlier, for a few days, and see if you don't feel better.

I think just something in the body had been prolonged over used. I don`t know what is it, just know it is a part from the waist. Get your doctor`s advice and you`ll be fine.

P.S
I know because i`ve tried slept (OVER!) 23 hours myself....

You slept so long because you were tired. And yes it is possible that your body was stressed out so you slept long.

Don't worry. You are tired both physically and psychologically. Let yourself calm down a bit, and don't get stressed so much. Sleep as much as you need. Sleeplessness can damage your thinking.
