Right now, West Ham are buying players who they think will help them avoid relegation. Curbishley are buying players who have workmanship but not skill. West Ham have many good players over the years, e.g. Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, Tony Cottee, etc, but somehow they were not able to keep them for long. Some of the players during Pardew's time were young players, and they may just jump ship when the club get relegated. And Curbishley may also sell of players who are part of the baby bentley clique. So what Curbishley is doing now is basically creating another first team squad, which is made up hardworking players like what he had when he managed Charlton. It may look good now, but I felt he has to look for flair players who can win games. He also need to look into his youth academy for good players and put them up. West Ham have lost many good young players before. Only if he could settle the ship, bring in quality players with a mixture of skill, flair and workmanship, then West Ham will definitely be a quality team playing in the Champions League. They have quite a few quality players in the team now, Tevez, Ashton, Ferdinand, Reo Coker, etc, but with the injuries that the team has, they are finding hard to find the quality first team squad.

West Ham are panic buying to try and stay in the Premier League. They are getting like Chelski paying over the odds for players but they are not buying top quality players. For example they bought Boa Morte from my club (Fulham) he is 30 this year and apart from the Arsenal game this season has not looked interested, perhaps the WH scouts watched him in that match. I think the "loan" signings of the two Argentines disrupted the team at the start of the season but recent big money purchases may not be the answer - more disruptions. WH need to go back to what they did well by bringing players up through the academy. Changes need to be made in stages to bed in players - you might as well buy a whole new team!

Probably - looks like they are going to get bankrolled as well. You think of the players West Ham have had and developed over the years and you wonder why so little success.

May well go down. Might have to sell some players who want to go. Will have loads of dosh to come straight back up and attract big name players. A lot of the team are on long term contracts, whatever, that means in today's world. Bring back Pardew, who the fans never wanted to leave. Di Canio has said privately, that he does not rate Curbishly.

not in any respect say not in any respect. 10 years in the past we were extreme contenders for the PL call and Europe. i am going to admit that the three communities suggested on your question are very, very not likely to finish some thing particular in the subsequent few years. yet who's conscious what the EPL table will be like in 5 years? For all you recognize a multi-billionaire might want to take over Newcastle and and pump money, SAF might want to di and the investors of guy U would develop into bored, and that i imagine that's sparkling that Notts County are dealing with an outstanding revolution, and could be contained in the PL very quickly. you in user-friendly words do not recognize. yet in the subsequent few years. I heavily doubt that we are able to win some thing except the Championship call. i do not recognize a lot about the NFL, yet they ought to settle for whoever is the champions of each and every league. the article you appropriate is ridiculous. If that takes position then golf equipment like guy U and Barca are going to be left unapposed and then ruin football for existence. They already have wide reserves of money they could dip into, which heavily isn't tormented by technique of those new regulations. God damn the French. @Dubya: Sorry, for that area i become especially pertaining to guy U. must have suggested that, sorry, i'm somewhat drained. yet person-friendly experience dictates that Barca have and could proceed to have a sparkling bypass of money from sponsers (huge golf equipment continuously get extra) and money investments from the call's you win. You already were given £6million only for being contained in the CL. Yea i dunno why he has td's both, i imagine they are valid factors. @ metal Biker: Yea that's authentic, yet I actually have little doubt what so ever that those vendors and investors might want to locate loop holes. yet, i assume the in user-friendly words wish might want to be sponsor deals. i am going to work out the signing prices sky rocket with this as each and every of the communities attempt to keep afloat. The Sky4 (spectacular time period, btw) are set now, notwithstanding it continues to be 3 years away, lets wish golf equipment practice for this and keep football.

Yes, I believe they will not only be but they are... It's just that they are not doing well this season and that doesn't mean they can not bounce back. Everything is possible in the Premiership so they still have 14 games to play and who knows what will happens.
Thanx!
