They were in The Ruttles, along with Neil Innes and were known, on occassion, to be better than blur, oasis, pulp, elastica and all of the rest of the Britpop poppers. More than anything, they were better than Coldplay. Yoko Ono told me and, apparently, she's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these sorts of disputes.
Ringo once had a fight with Chris Martin and was so ashamed at the ease of his victory that he wept openly whilst delivering the fatal blow using an alabaster potpourri holder. George was a well loved satanist, and often organised coffee mornings for the old, frail and farcical. Paul's face was reconstructed from rubber following a freak accident with a tea light that occurred whilst he was losing his virginity on his 35th birthday. And John was prone to wind, but invented revolutionary absorbent underpants to hide his embarrassment, the patent for which can still be viewed on request.
How come no one else knew this?

Each individuals have their very own taste in music. Some bands or groups may have a massive influence and worshipped by millions of fans around the globe but not to all though. Everyone is different so don't lashed out or have a go at this poor dude just b'coz of his ( i presumed ) curiousity. If you don't know, you ask, pretty simple. No questions, no answres so it's fair dinkum, nothing is wrong with that at least he has the guts to ask. Good on ya !!

and i would say judging by the hair styles blur and oasis are trying to be the beatles.and you can't really say any of them are better than each other as it is differant era and differant kinds of music ,so they are all good as each other.

If you really didn't know before, you sure do now. As to "better", consider how long the Beatles have been popular and then truthfully suggest how long the other cr** bands you mention will last.
