Do you use tampons when your not on your period? if so that could be causing more discharge. You should only wear panty liners when you are not on. Your body sees the tampon as a foreign object and excretes extra fluid to get rid of it. not to mention the bacteria build up. No, excess discharge is not normal. You already saw your gyno so you may not have any stds. What your doctor gave you was probably a antibiotic for Bacterial Vaginosis. You should go back to your gyno and ask him/her to give you Cipro a more effective antibiotic. Also you really need to talk to your gyno. him/her can give you better advice than us strangers.

im kinda the same as you...iv never been to a gyno tho but it has been like this for about the last 2 years and i am 19...i think i agree with you...how can it be an infection for this long...plus wouldnt it be followed by odor, weird discharge, and maybe itching...i dont think anything is wrong with us...i dont really have as much as you..to wear a pad or tampon ALL THE TIME...but sometimes i do because it gets annoying...i feel for you...i dont think it is in the norm but it is nice to know that someone is going through the same thing....if you ever find out anything e-mail me...otherwise i really dont think that anything is wrong...or we would know by now.

What was the medicine that they gave you for? An infection? or what? You need to go back to the doctor and tell them that the stuff they gave you didn't work. If they don't help you anymore after that, find a new doctor. You should not have to deal with that.

Perhaps it's normal? Like, some people have large breasts, some don't? Unless there's (warning, gross stuff coming up) an unpleasant odour or funny colour, it may be perfectly normal. I would definately check back with your doctor.

I would say don't wear a tampon unless you're on your period. my girl stays wet a lot too and wears pantyliners all the time. especially when she ovulates. Personally, I love it. I love being able to pull her close to me anytime of the day or night and know that she's ready to go.

Is it that your period is heavy? Have they tried birth control pills? That is something that does work. If there is another type of discharge then you need to see your doctor ASAP, if she won't listen then you need to find another doctor. If you feel that something is not right, then follow your instincts. When it comes to our bodies we generally can tell when something is off and when we need to push forward for additional testing. CALL YOUR DOC ASAP!!!

OK, when we wear very tight pants or thongs all the time, we're continually stimulating the labia and the vulva in general, and our vulva and vagina are very delicate organs, they respond to every change, temperature, pressure, humidity, everything.... don;t wear thongs everyday, and don't wear so tight jeans..... not everyday... Go see your doctor again and tell her that crap didn;t work.
