No. Im left handed and I start on the right foot..but thanks for making me think abut it..

I personally step with my left foot first. I'm the only left handed person in my entire family, (including extended family) and I was taught as a child to do everything right handed... that hurts, trying to use "right handed scissors" in your left hand! Very uncomfortable! But I still do many things with my left hand, including writing.

No, I am left handed and I start walking with whatever foot is most convenient (ie if my dog is sitting on my left I start with my right)

some people can be left handed and right footed..
i write with left hand but kick balls with right foot :)
so answer is no.

It really has nothing to do with being dextrous in your left hand. It could go either way. You are naturally inclined to walk right foot forward

maybe it depend s on the person. I am left handed and i step with my left foot first. but i know other left handers that step with their right. But i play sports right handed because that is the way i have been taught. only me and one of my cousins r left handed. every one else is a normal right hander.

Everyone steps off with their left foot, if they are in a marching band, etc. Wealthy people in Old England used to hire footmen, whose sole job was to be sure everyone entered their home (or castle or coach?) using their right foot, to avoid bad luck (evil spirits?). Put your best foot forward, your choice.
