Not the LA times, an OPINION in the Times. And yes it was bad.

That's not what it says. The article begins by comparing the 9/11 attacks to what the Russians experienced during world war II. Twenty million Russians were ultimately killed so there is no comparison. The article is asking if we are over reacting by assuming that the enemy now has the capacity to threaten our very existence, not just the will. The questions the article raises are valid, regardless of whether or not you agree with it's conclusions.

Let's see. Thousands of innocent civilians murdered in cold blood. Billions in property damage. Seems bad to me. I'd say the LA Times columnist is just a ding-a-ling. Maybe that's just me.

Aw heck no it was great. Only 3-4000 died. Now if it had happened in L.A. would it have been bad? Why would you base an opionion on one opinion in one newspaper? You have a brain, use it.

the usa should have been prepared for this long ago. they saw what was going on in the world and chose to do nothing meaning the goverment. it was a horrible thing that happened these people were not soilders. they were friggen going to work for crying out loud think about that

yes they are in the newspapers too..

they are in congress right now...they are called democrats...
wouldnt be hard for me to believe the newspapers had one or two too...
