Yes, I've worked there during that time and played as well. October is by far, my most favorite month to visit Orlando. The weather is still warm enough to enjoy the beach and other water activities, and yet the crowds are low. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom is a great way to enjoy the MK. Ticket prices are only $36 for adults and about $28 for children. And you get to be at the MK for about 8 hours with really limited crowds and during a special event! I don't think my husband and I will ever visit the MK again unless there is a special party going on - its basically getting for half the price but during a great fun time!

Yes! It was a great celebration! Disney gets the park totally decked out in halloween gear and the lines are perfect! I never had to wait more than 30 minutes for the most popular rides! It is a little more chilly around 65-75 degrees. Hope this helps!! My pointers would be to stay at a Disney World Resort!

Yes we did the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween two years ago. It was okay but once was enough. The park is less crowded and the lines are very short. However, it was cold and my children changed out of their costumes for warmer clothes quickly. Also Disney turns down the lights and it is harder to see. We were almost run down several times by large strollers.
I've heard the Halloween celebrations at Universal and Sea World are better.

If you want to be scared, go to Busch Gardens in Tampa.
