It's true!
I hate it too, but I don't listen to music loud for 2 reasons: at the office, because people would kill me, and since I am at the reception, it would scare people away..
At home, because I don't want to give my neighbor a reason to do the same. She listens to reaggeton all day , VERY VERY LOUD, so loud that I can't be in my backyard (and it's summer here, and that's where I have the swimming pool), because her music drives me crazy!
So, I listen to music at a reasonable volume...

No,when I am here I run the place (VP)...so I blare it when I want to,but with my door shut in case customers are coming in unexpectedly, but it can still be heard, just a lil muffled..my tastes vary so they never know what I will play but it usually reflects my mood..If its Metallica or Godsmack they know to walk softly around me though..=)
hey remember I don't want egg on my McD biscuit k? =)

Headphones solve this problem - get some with a mouthpiece and folk will think you are working hard.
