I totally agree, she was amazing in the movie. Seeing Jennifer perform the song is a different experience than hearing it on the radio. She is a pro, she was a star from the start.

Wow can you believe she didn't win Idol?? Yeah she did an amazing job at her time acting, and she is also a down to earth sweetheart. I heard that they originally wanted to give that role to Fantasia but Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and the rest of the cast wanted Jennifer to play the role. (Good idea...huh) Everybody is rooting for her. And her version of Jennifer Holiday's song in "Dream Girls" was just amazing!!! But I will admit the movie "Dream Girls" really didn't live up to all the hype surrounding the movie in my opinion. I thought it was just OKAY. I'm also rooting for Forest Whitaker!!!

I haven't seen Dreamgirls yet, but I know Jennifer Hudson from her American Idol days. She didn't win, but things happen for a reason. Best of luck to her.

Loosing American Idol was a true blessing in disguise for her. What a nice Cinderella rags to riches story. :o)
