A cold wet washcloth, massage each lip gently for about 20-30 seconds, apply any chapstick or vaseline for protection, shine, moisture, whatever you want it to do and you're done.

Price...whatever the price of one drop of chapstick or vaseline is.

The reason it plumps your lips is because you are basically irritating the area, but it's not bad. If you overdo it you can end up with a raw lip which will give you a small scaley area, so you have to know when to stop and how gently to exfoliate. This gives your lips a bee-stung look because the dry skin has been taken off, exfoliating and massaging allows blood to come to the surface which plumps your lips slightly and brings out better color. I do it all the time.

Any product that says it plumps your lips will not do it to a great extent. And your end results will most likely be the same as using a washcloth, so waste your money if you like...

I use one call Lip Injection by Too Faced. It costs about £10 from Boots. When you first put it on it makes your lips tingle but that only lasts about 5 minutes. It has a glossy finish so you can wear it on its own or over your normal lipstick. The plumping effect lasts for several hours.

The only real way is to get your lips injected with a filler. These can last up to 6 months. You don't have to have a lot injected - just enough. You could just have your top lip injected - don't have to have both done. Thats what i did.
