My dr gave me a hand-out that says that at 6-8 months they should be getting 26-33 oz of formula a day, in addition to the following:
3-9 tablespoons of infant cereal, two feedings a day
4 ounces infant fruit juice
1/2 - 1 jar of vegetables
1 jar of fruits
What you feed your baby, and how much, depends more on your child's development than age. So ask your doctor what is right for you!

I have twin 6 month olds. They eat 32 oz of formula a day (four 8 oz bottles) plus cereal with fruit or veggie twice a day. They are satisified and growing well.

Mine took like 5 bottles a day about 6 oz in each bottle, sometime more or less but usually about that much! So 30 oz, give or take a few.

Babies should not have more than 30 ounces of formula a day. If your baby stays hungry give him/her more food.
