The Original 'Night Of The Living Dead'
The hillbillies mistake the main guy for a zombie, shoot him and treat him like a piece of meat - nice commentary on racism though
Dead Ringers
The shy twin Beverley performing the operation on his brother and then going back to die with him

Fave film would definitely be Seven. Film with a horrible ending is the Break up. I didnt even realise it was over until people started getting off their seats.
P.S.: Leonardo Da Vinci was not in Titanic.

I don't know if this counts because the ENDING wasn't exactly horrible but more like the whole movie. I saw Last House on the Left, one of Wes Craven's first films, and that was HORRIBLE what happened to those girls. I won't say for people who haven't seen it, but there isn't another movie out there that is so unrelenting. I've never seen anything like that before in a fictitious film.

Arlington Road is a great movie.
The Usual Suspects, where Kevin Spacey leaves the office (won't say anymore in case someones not seen it) Not horrible, but unexpected.
Angel Heart
The original version of the Vanishing is the most scary movie

how can you say that arlington road had a horrible ending! That is one fantastic ending. You never see that one coming, and that makes for a great ending. One movie that i loved, but the ending went nowhere was "american psycho". another movie which was good, but basically the ending came to a sudden halt was "unbreakable". But if i understand you right about "arlington road" man you couldn't be more wrong.

i have to agree with the question asker. arlington road had a horrible ending, and i don't mean horrible as in bad, but i mean horrible as in disturbing. it bothered me to no end, and still does.
(spoiler alert)
i mean, that kid is going to go through the rest of his life thinking his father blew up the building. that is so unfair. if jeff bridges' character didn't have a kid, i'd be less disturbed. but why subject an innocent kid to such psychological damage? yes, yes, it's just a movie, but still...
